Neurology is the specialty that deals with the diagnosis, treatment and recovery of patients suffering with nervous system.

Neurology deals with sleep disorders and wakefulness, comatose states, memory disorders, epilepsy and other episodes of loss of awareness, migraines and headaches, peripheral nerve diseases, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, strokes and many other diseases.

Neurologic examination includes anamnesis (history of present illness, personal and family history) checking meningeal signs and checking the bottom of the eye, cranial nerve exam, driveability, sensitivity, reflexes, coordination, muscle tone, the cognitive functions exam.
